Vastu Remedies for Narak Chaturdashi

Vastu Remedies for Narak Chaturdashi focus on removing negative energy, purifying the home, and welcoming peace, prosperity, and good health. Also known as Choti Diwali, this sacred day is associated with cleanliness, light, protection, and the victory of positivity over darkness. Cleaning neglected areas, lighting diyas in the correct directions, removing broken items, and keeping the entrance bright are believed to create a balanced and auspicious atmosphere.

Narak Chaturdashi is celebrated one day before Diwali and holds special importance in Hindu tradition. It is believed that performing simple Vastu remedies on this day helps eliminate stagnant and negative energy from the home while inviting happiness, harmony, and financial stability.

Begin by thoroughly cleaning the house, especially dark corners, the kitchen, entrance, and areas where unused items have accumulated. Remove broken idols, damaged utensils, stopped clocks, dried plants, and unnecessary clutter, as such objects are traditionally associated with blocked or stagnant energy.

Decorate the main entrance with a clean toran and rangoli, and keep the doorway well-lit. Light mustard-oil or sesame-oil diyas in different areas of the home. A four-faced diya may also be lit outside the main entrance in the evening as part of the traditional Yama Deep Daan ritual. Place it safely, following your family tradition and local customs.

Sprinkling Gangajal throughout the house and using natural fragrances such as camphor, cloves, or incense can help create a fresh and peaceful environment. Keep the north-east direction clean and uncluttered, as it is traditionally regarded as an auspicious space for prayer and spiritual activities.

According to Har Ghar Pandit Ji, these remedies should be performed with cleanliness, faith, gratitude, and positive intentions. Vastu practices are traditional beliefs; their deeper purpose is to encourage a cleaner, calmer, and more harmonious home during the festive season.
